Higher Education Innovation and Leadership, After Covid 19

Change doesn’t come easy to colleges. Historically that’s been both a critique – and a strength. In a recent report, “The Innovation Imperative: The Buzz, the Barriers, and What Real Change Looks Like,” The Chronicle of Higher Education explored the roadblocks to innovation and techniques for getting beyond them. In this session, the co-author of that report, Chronicle senior writer Goldie Blumenstyk, will briefly highlight some of the enduring lessons of that work, followed by an open discussion to share ideas on what still applies today and what new approaches may be needed in the Covid-19 era and beyond.
