Justin Herbert's rookie year went better than even Chargers fans were hoping for. He set a rookie record for touchdowns, protected the ball with only 15 interceptable passes, and proved thatt he is a franchise quarterback. There were some issues, though. He would frequently look at the wrong side of the field, had some minor mechanical problems, and was hamstrung by the offensive system.
